Cloud Field Sales Manager

Specific Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or IT (MBA preferred).
  • 4–6 years of proven field sales experience in Cloud/IT services (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise IT solutions.
  • Extremely well connected with the ecosystem including CxO and Googlers and AWS teams
  • Drive sales directly, through the team and through partner ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and close large deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with frequent client visits/travel.
Responsible For
  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities for cloud services and solutions.
  • Meet with prospective clients to understand their requirements and position appropriate cloud offerings (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, migration, and managed services).
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through field visits, networking, and industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cloud technologies.
